Scribe. is a daily notes app designed to feel like writing on paper. You write notes for today, scratch them out when done, and navigate between yesterday, today, and tomorrow. For anything else, there's the agenda.

Tap + note... at the bottom of the screen. Choose the pen icon to type or the mic icon to record a voice note. Hit return or done when you're finished.

Tap a note to select it, then tap the clock icon that appears at the bottom. Pick your time and tap done — the note will sort itself into the right position automatically.

Swipe horizontally across a note. A single stroke gives a clean line, a back-and-forth motion gives a double line, and a zigzag gives a squiggle. The note stays visible — it's part of your day's history.

Swipe across the scratched note again. The scratch is removed and the note returns to its normal state.

Scratching leaves the note visible but crossed out — a record of what you completed. Deleting removes it entirely. To delete, tap a note to select it, then tap the bin icon.

Tap a note to select it, then tap the pen icon that appears at the bottom. The text field opens with the existing content ready to edit.

Scribe. uses your device's preferred language for transcription. It works with any language supported by iOS Speech Recognition, including English and French.

Live Activity keeps a selected note visible on your lock screen so you can glance at it without opening the app. It's useful for notes you want to keep front of mind throughout the day.

Tap a note to select it, then tap the lock screen icon that appears at the bottom. The note will appear on your lock screen in your chosen font.

Tap the same note again to select it, then tap the lock screen icon a second time. The Live Activity will end immediately. You can also swipe it away directly from your lock screen.

No — only one note can be live at a time. Starting a Live Activity on a new note automatically ends the previous one.

Scribe. has three widgets: a small write widget that opens a new note with the keyboard, a small voice widget that opens a new voice recording, and a medium combined widget with both options side by side.

Long press your home screen, tap the + button in the top corner, search for Scribe., and choose the widget size you want.

Lock screen controls are shortcuts that appear in the Control Centre and on your lock screen on iOS 18 and later. Scribe. offers a write control and a voice control so you can start a new note instantly without unlocking your phone.

On iOS 18 or later, go to Settings → Control Centre and add the Scribe. write or voice controls. You can also customise your lock screen and add them directly there.

When enabled in settings, your notes sync automatically across all your devices signed into the same iCloud account. Sync requires a Scribe. Pro upgrade.

Yes. Your notes are stored in your private iCloud database and are only accessible to you. Feather Studio has no access to your notes.
