Trip. is provided for personal, non-commercial use. You may use the app to plan trips, log travel memories, track places and expenses, and manage travel-related information for yourself and your travel companions.
You agree not to:
All data you create in Trip. — including trips, places, photos, expenses, and notes — belongs to you. It is stored locally on your device and, if iCloud Sync is enabled, in your personal iCloud account.
Daren Irlen and Feather Studio do not have access to your data and do not store it on any servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
We strongly recommend using the Export feature (Profile → Export data) regularly to back up your trips. We are not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, app deletion, or iOS updates.
Trip. allows you to export trips as JSON files and share them with other users. By exporting a trip, you acknowledge that the recipient will receive a copy of all included trip data (places, expenses, prep lists as selected). Photos are not included in exports.
Imported trips create an independent copy on the recipient's device. Daren Irlen and Feather Studio are not responsible for how exported trip data is used, stored, or shared by third parties.
Trip. offers an optional one-time purchase to unlock Pro features. All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's Terms of Sale. Daren Irlen and Feather Studio do not handle payment information directly.
Purchases are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as provided by Apple's refund policy. For refund requests, please contact Apple Support directly.
Trip. and all associated content, design, and code are the intellectual property of Daren Irlen / Feather Studio. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the app without explicit written permission.
The Trip. name, logo, and editorial design are proprietary. Third-party trademarks referenced within the app (Apple, Unsplash, OpenStreetMap, etc.) remain the property of their respective owners.
Trip. integrates with third-party services including Unsplash, Nominatim/OpenStreetMap, and OpenWeather to provide cover photo search, place search, and weather features. Your use of these features is subject to each service's own terms and privacy policies.
Daren Irlen and Feather Studio are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party data. These integrations may be changed or discontinued at any time.
Trip. is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Daren Irlen and Feather Studio make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or continued availability of the app or its features.
Use of the app is at your own risk. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of security vulnerabilities.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Daren Irlen and Feather Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of Trip., including but not limited to loss of data, travel disruptions, financial loss, or damage to your device.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app or its in-app purchases.
We may update these terms from time to time as the app evolves. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
